This Privacy Policy describes how Unclench (“the App,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use our iOS application.
Unclench does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personally identifiable information. All your activity data (relax sessions, streaks, points, duel history) is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Anonymous usage analytics. We use PostHog to collect anonymous, aggregated information about how the App is used — for example, which screens are viewed, how often relax sessions are completed, and whether reminders are tapped. This data is associated with a randomly generated identifier stored on your device. It is not linked to your identity.
Anonymous crash reports. We use Sentry to collect technical information when the App crashes, including device model, iOS version, and the technical state of the App at the moment of failure. No personal information is included. This helps us fix bugs.
Subscription information. If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify your subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and your subscription details from Apple. We never see your payment information, name, or Apple ID.
The anonymous analytics and crash data described above are used solely to improve the App. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with advertisers or any third party for marketing purposes.
All your activity data lives only on your device. To delete it, go to Settings → “Delete all my data” inside the App, or simply uninstall the App. There is nothing for us to delete on a server because nothing is stored on a server.
Anonymous analytics data sent to PostHog is retained according to PostHog’s standard retention policy (1 year for the free tier). Because this data is anonymous, it cannot be traced back to you for individual deletion.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing tied to your identity for us to access, correct, or delete. Uninstalling the App or using the in-App data deletion option removes all data we have related to your usage.
Unclench is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
