Terms of Service for Unclench

By downloading or using Unclench (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

What Unclench Is

Unclench is a mobile app that prompts you to notice and release physical tension throughout your day, framed as a game against an AI rival. Unclench is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. If you are experiencing chronic pain, anxiety, or other health issues, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.

Subscriptions

Unclench offers a paid subscription. The first 2 relax sessions are free. After that, an active subscription is required to continue using the core features of the App.

• Price: As displayed in the App at the time of purchase (currently €2.99/month).
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing your subscription: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable law
• Attempt to circumvent the subscription paywall

Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will achieve any specific health or wellness outcome.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights under the laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
